Verification of certificates

Professional certificate verification ensures qualifications are valid, compliant, and trusted by employers and regulatory bodies.

Why we ask for verification?

We ask for verification of the applicant’s identity and supporting documents as part of the application process, as we need to be sure that the applicant’s identity is genuine and that the photocopies we receive are true copies of original documents.

How to verify

The Applicant’s Identity
The original documents that must be verified are:
the applicant’s birth certificate and one of the following photographic identity documents:

The photographic identity page in the applicant’s passport
Their photographic driving license
Their national photographic identity card
Their photographic work identity card

Qualification Certificates

The applicant’s original qualification certificate(s) should be verified and photocopied. identity documents:

If any of these documents are written in a language other than English, the applicant should provide a translation and submit it with their application.

Check that the photocopy is a true copy of the original document. Do the following on the photocopy of each relevant document:

Sign your name.
Write ‘I have seen the original and this is a true copy.
Write your full name and the date. Return the copies to the applicant along with the original documents. In the verification section of the application form, indicate which documents you have verified, write your name and sign the form.
